BlueSolar MPPT Charge Controller - 75V - 10AMPFeatures: Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) Especially in case of a clouded sky, when light intensity is changing continuously, an ultra-fast MPPT controller will improve energy harvest by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.  Load output Over-discharge of the battery can be prevented by connecting all loads to the load output. The load output will disconnect the load when the battery has been discharged to a pre-set voltage. Alternatively, an intelligent battery management algorithm can be chosen: see Battery Life. A special interface cable may be needed, please see the manual.  Battery Life: intelligent battery management When a solar charge controller is not able to recharge the battery to its full capacity within one day, the result is often that the battery will continually be cycled between a ‘partially charged’ state and the ‘end of discharge’ state. This mode of operation (no regular full recharge) will destroy a lead-acid battery within weeks or months. The Battery Life algorithm will monitor the state of charge of the battery and, if needed, day by day slightly increase the load disconnect level (i.e. disconnect the load earlier) until the harvested solar energy is sufficient to recharge the battery to nearly the full 100%. Discharging the accessory battery for example will not result in also discharging the starter battery. Low voltage drop due to the use of high-efficiency Schottky diodes.The Argo Battery Isolators feature a low voltage drop thanks to the use of Schottky diodes: at low current, the voltage drop is approximately 0,3 V, and at the rated output of approximately 0,45 V. All models are fitted with a compensation diode that can be used to slightly increase the output voltage of the alternator. This compensates for the voltage drop over the diodes in the isolator. Simply inserting the isolator in the cabling between the alternator and the batteries will slightly reduce charge voltage. The result can be that batteries are not charged to the full 100% and age prematurely. Alternator energize input Some alternators need DC voltage on the B+ output to start charging. Obviously, DC will be present when the alternator is directly connected to a battery. It communicates system information straight to your smart phone - using the free-to-use VictronConnect app.  When used with Multi- inverter/chargers the dongle provides on-battery temperature and voltage sensing capabilities - allowing compensation for possible cable losses which can occur during charging and discharging.
